Overview:

As an Aras PLM Solution Architect, you will be leading successful customer deployments of Aras innovator solutions. You will lead the technical implementation team during the planning, elaboration, design, construction, and transition of solutions to the customer. You will be accountable for overall technical software solution delivered. Demonstration of technical leadership, large team management, organization skills, and the ability to negotiate with key customer stakeholders are essential in ensuring success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Should be single point of contact for a project involving ARAS PLM platform on technical inputs
  • Facilitate workshops, develop solutions, build consensus across all stakeholders to ensure timely and successful delivery of technology aligned to business value
  • Work closely and collaboratively with stakeholders to understand and capture requirements and to devise effective technical solutions.
  • Develop conceptual solution architecture using combination of standard and custom applications to produce end-to-end customer solution
  • Lead as well as support the development of requirements specifications, Use Cases, and functional specifications
  • Perform solution analysis and develop customer facing proposals and contribute to the development of proposals / statements of work
  • Transform customer requirements to technical solutions through a thorough understanding of the Aras Innovator suite of tools
  • Lead or participate in the delivery of Proof-of-Concept engagements at key prospects
  • Provide input to the development team regarding methodology and tools
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to other team members as necessary
  • Assign tasks to project members and reviews the team’s work products to ensure that they are accurate and consistent. Supervises and manages project teams as appropriate.
  • Supervise and manage technical teams that may be located either onsite or offshore
  • Should be technology agnostic and understand the emerging technologies and applicability around Aras Innovator platform.
  • Should be up to date on Aras Innovator solutions and be proactive in understanding customer’s business and suggest them timely on the usage.
  • Should be able to act as subject matter expert for the domain, processes, methodology and able to adapt latest technologies, frameworks and tools quickly.
  • Lead and Support in activities such as technical discovery, demos, proof of value, POC, presentation, sizing, and documentation of technical decision criteria
  • Drive the development team to use latest and better technologies.
  • Create and ensure best-practices, standards, and documentation among development teams.
  • Bring in Continuous Improvement using DevOps solutions.
  • Lead and Participate in ongoing training programs and conduct trainings as needed.

Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with Aras PLM Innovator performing configuration and customisation, integrations at the enterprise level is strongly desired.
  • Should be well versed with Aras Platform architecture and its majority of modules.
  • Must be able to write clear, understandable Requirements, SOW, Specification documents, and Use Cases.
  • Have a thorough understanding of large-scale enterprise application deployment methodologies with experience leading teams in an Agile / Scrum environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, fluent in English and should be able to handle discussions with stakeholders independently.
  • Ability to work in teams, global environment, and manage multiple priorities and deliverables concurrently.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
  • Strong rapport and relationship building skills with both internal individuals and external customers. Must be an effective communicator in difficult customer situations
  • Proven strong project management skills with accountability for end-to-end delivery
  • Strong planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Technically self-sufficient with data modelling techniques, SQL Server and Microsoft Office products. Installation and configuration of SQL Server, SQL Scripting (Transact SQL), SQL triggers, stored procedures, functions, etc.
  • Must be proficient with web programming languages such as: C# (.NET), Javascript, HTML, XML, XSL
  • Good experience with Web API Services: REST and SOAP
  • Experience in best practices and tools around CI/CD
  • Exposure to cloud Azure/AWS
  • Experience with data migration techniques from legacy systems.

Experience/Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 10 years of PLM implementation experience
  • Proven track record in leading large, enterprise PLM software deployments in an Architect role
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira
  • Experience in any of the following verticals: Manufacturing, Automotive, Semi-conductors, Consumer Products, High Tech Electronics, Aerospace
  • Industry knowledge of any of the following: Engineering Change processes, CMII change management, Phase Gate Project Management, Quality systems processes, Manufacturing Process Planning
