Overview:
You will be a hands-on developer yourself, leading a team of developers. You will be configuring, customising all available solutions on the Aras Innovator platform. You will be integrating Aras Platform with other enterprise applications. You will be migrating solutions and data from other enterprise systems to Aras Platform. You will also be supporting upgrade of ARAS Platform to new versions. While this role involves heavy technical capabilities, functional understanding is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Should be responsible for delivery of one or more projects along with a team of developers either as a single point of contact to customers or be able to work with the assistance of a senior PLM manager/architect.
- Work closely and collaboratively with clients to understand and capture requirements and to devise effective technical solutions.
- Understand customer’s business. Initiate/Participate in application architecture and design, create the respective documentation, arrange meetings to discuss with customer, and get a go ahead for implementation.
- Conduct requirements, design, code reviews and test software as needed.
- Ensure timely delivery and excellent quality of the deliverables.
- Should be technology agnostic and understand the emerging technologies and applicability around Aras platform.
- Should be up to date on Aras solutions and be proactive in understanding customer’s business and suggest them timely on the usage.
- Should be able to act as subject matter expert for the domain, processes, methodology and able to adapt latest technologies, frameworks and tools quickly.
- Support in pre-sales with activities such as technical discovery, demos, proof of value, POC, presentation, sizing, and documentation of technical decision criteria; working across number of opportunities in parallel
- Assist in creating and drafting proposals/SoW/Work Contracts and RFP responses, as and when required
- Act as a mentor for Developers in the team
- Drive the development team to use latest and better technologies.
- Create and implement best-practices, standards and documentation within the team
- Bring in Continuous Improvement using DevOps solutions
- Contribute to company’s knowledge hub on a regular basis.
Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Aras PLM Innovator performing configuration and customisation, integrations at the enterprise level is strongly desired.
- Installation of Aras PLM on premise and on cloud
- Excellent communication, fluent in English and should be able to handle customer discussions independently.
- Ability to work in teams, global environment, and manage multiple priorities and deliverables concurrently.
- Demonstrated ability and experience in the entire software development life cycle: from requirements, design, implementation, test and debugging, to deployment and maintenance.
- Good experience with Web API Services: REST and SOAP
- Experience in best practices and tools around CI/CD
- Exposure to cloud Azure/AWS
- Excellent Technical skills: C#. net, html5, CSS, JS
